    This is an experiential workshop in which seasoned personal trainers and other fitness professionals are introduced to personality traits of inactive clients. They learn communication patterns to motivate inactive clients to improve their exercise adherence.

Upon completion of this course:
1. Students will recognize 4 basic characteristic behavior patterns of the inactive client.
2. Students will recognize 4 basic responses of the inactive client to exercise.
3. Students will demonstrate 4 communication strategies for motivating and retaining inactive clients. Students will have outline for making a brochure or flyer that targets the inactive market.
