Workshops for Sport Psychology Professionals Learn Improvisation for Team Building (ITB)
What is ITB?
ITB is a series of improvisational games especially designed for sports teams. Improvisational games are like weight training; they work out the "improvisational muscles."
Dr. Ingalls has taught ITB to the University of New Hampshire Women's Lacrosse team, www.unhwildcats.com/lacrosse/index.html, and the McNicholas High School Girls Soccer and Volleyball teams.
Why should I learn ITB?
To learn how ITB benefits athletes click on Improvisation for Team Building
With ITB, sports mental training consultants engage athletes in a "practice of method" that is developmental; athletes become toolmakers rather than tool users. With good team improvisation, sport is more gratifying and fun.
What will I learn in an ITB Workshop?
How to inspire people to perform - challenge and support them as performers.
How to lead "ice-breaker" and warm-up exercises for groups.
How to lead improvisational games and support participants as "toolmakers."
